Fendi serves a new vision of tenniscore with the Spring/Summer 2026 collection

FENDI CELEBRATES ITS UPCOMING 100TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A SPRING/SUMMER 2026 COLLECTION THAT BLENDS ITALIAN CRAFTSMANSHIP, CONTEMPORARY SPORTSWEAR AND THE TIMELESS ELEGANCE OF TENNIS. PRESENTED DURING MILAN FASHION WEEK UNDER THE CREATIVE DIRECTION OF SILVIA VENTURINI FENDI, THE COLLECTION REIMAGINES THE COURT’S ICONIC CODES THROUGH LUXURIOUS MATERIALS, REFINED DETAILS AND A MODERN INTERPRETATION OF TENNISCORE.

As Fendi approaches its centenary, the Maison looks to its heritage while embracing a new generation of style. The Spring/Summer 2026 collection transforms the effortless sophistication of tennis into a refined everyday wardrobe, capturing the sport’s growing influence on contemporary fashion. Traditional court silhouettes are reinterpreted with a distinctly Fendi perspective, where athletic references meet exceptional craftsmanship and Italian luxury.

At the heart of the collection is a celebration of tennis-inspired dressing. Pleated mini skirts, sporty tops and classic court proportions are elevated through unexpected fabrics and sophisticated construction. Traditional tennis shirts are deconstructed and transformed into elegant blouses, lightweight chemisets and cropped blazers, creating a seamless connection between sportswear and modern tailoring. Instead of conventional jerseys, Fendi introduces a rich palette of textures, including perforated leather, delicate organza, jacquard fabrics and airy crochet knitwear.

The color palette further embraces the energy of the court, moving beyond classic tennis white with vibrant accents of sunshine yellow, turquoise and coral. These fresh tones bring a youthful sense of movement to the collection, while maintaining the effortless elegance that defines the Fendi aesthetic.

The collection’s tennis inspiration extends into its use of net-like structures and perforated surfaces, translating the functional language of sport into luxurious design elements. Gitter-like constructions evoke the visual rhythm of the tennis net. Meanwhile, perforated leather, transparent fabrics and open-knit textures capture the sense of breathability, movement and lightness associated with athletic performance. These mesh-inspired elements highlight the connection between function and artistry: laser-cut leather echoes the ventilation and texture of classic sports materials, while delicate organza and fine knits create an impression of fluidity and effortless motion. Rather than simply referencing tennis aesthetics, Fendi abstracts the sport’s functional details into a language of luxury and craftsmanship.
